The Connecticut Supreme Court reportedly ruled Thursday that a lawsuit against firearms manufacturers brought by the families of victims of the Sandy Hook massacre could go to court.

The ruling could require firearms companies to give the families access to internal communications that they have been trying to keep secret, according to The New York Times.

The article goes on to state the following:

The families have alleged that companies that made the weapons used in the deadly shooting at an elementary school are partly responsible for it. They also have argued that the AR-15-style Bushmaster used by the gunman was promoted as a weapon of war.

How can you blame the gun company just because they made the gun they didn’t put it in the hands of the killer. Need to stop blaming the gun company and the guns. People make the choice to pick up a gun.

That is so ridiculous! Why a judge would let something like this go forward is mind boggling.

I am going to sue my bathtub maker because it is more dangerous than a gun. While doing that I will target the knife manufacturers also, they are way too sharp.
More people are injured falling in bathtubs and using knives than getting killed. Sandy Hook was a bad situation and sad for all those that lost loved ones but to sue the gun maker is wrong.
