Republican senators have introduced legislation to fully fund President Trump’s request of $25 billion for the U.S.-Mexico border wall.

“The WALL Act would fully fund the border wall by closing existing loopholes that provide illegal immigrants with federal benefits and tax credits, without affecting the benefits and tax credits used by Americans,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said in a statement on Thursday.

The article goes on to state the following:

To pay for the border wall, the Republicans propose to crack down on benefits for undocumented immigrants, including requiring that parents have a Social Security number to claim refundable tax credits, requiring any welfare applicants to prove they are a citizen and increasing minimum fines on individuals who cross the border illegally or overstay visas.

Meg Miller , Wall Bonds . Heard it on the Mark Levin show . I also heard that someone had started GoFund Me for the wall. The latter would have to be scrutinized closely because there are so many scammers out there. Just saying.

Sadly not going to happen. Never will get to the house. Not enough time and Flake will not vote for it. Why now and not two years ago? Again the Republicans are playing us. They know this will not go anywhere.
An interesting fact. Illegals cannot get welfare as current law prohibits it. But their anchor baby children do. How about a stipulation that the welfare payments are based on the number of American citizens in the family, not the entire family.

Pass the House now, then pass the Senate after the new year! Do it while the Republicans are still in control of House!

Sounds great, never happen. They do not have time to get it through the swamp creatures. The Republicans aren’t fast enough to get this done before they take the holiday break. We, as usual get screwed with false promises.
    Please prove me wrong!

Sounds a little too good to be true. Why didn’t this happen 2 years ago? I’ll believe it when I see it. However, I commend Sen. Cruz for his efforts on this bill.

The wall will never be built, sad to say. No DACA, implement and enforce E Verify – Now. The illegals will leave when there are no jobs for them.
