The Senate voted on Thursday to nix President Trump’s national emergency declaration to construct the U.S.-Mexico border wall, setting up the first veto battle with his White House.

Senators voted 59-41 to pass the resolution of disapproval blocking Trump’s declaration. Underscoring the broad base of concern over Trump’s actions within the Republican caucus, 12 GOP senators broke rank and voted with all the Democrats.

The article goes on to state the following:

The measure passed the House last month, 245-182.

The resolution now heads to Trump’s desk, where he is expected to use the first veto of his presidency to defeat it. Neither chamber has the vote override the president.

I want names of the RINO bastards that sided with the despicable DIMs. This is a disgusting testament to how foul our congress has become. They want to protect their cash cows and don’t give a shit about the safety and security of Americans. Every damn one who rejected this now has a big target on their backs to be voted right out! They can all go straight to Hell. Veto Away, President Trump!

Every Republican who voted against it is responsible for the enduring, massive debt to provide humanitarian aid, schools, and medical services to illegal immigrants. They are also responsible for and any every heinous crime, from murder and rape to aggravated assault and theft, committed by illegal immigrants. Each deserves to be removed from Congress in the 2020 elections for having violated the principle of US sovereignty. When they, their families, and friends suffer the presence of illegal immigrants, they will understand.

This is a real dumbass thing for Republicans to do ,tho if its to prevent a future Democrat President from using and abusing the same executive power to destroy America as they assuredly would I can accept it…but Trump better secure that border and quick or he will lose my confidence in him …We need a hard nosed balls to the wall Commander in Chief that can runover the Democrats ,progressives nd liberals that promote nothing but evil …or there will be civil war nd they and real patriots will bleed nd die …to bring this nation back to its roots and restore moral character and integrity…and those pissant Rhinos are part of the problem ,they will have to go too.

Every one of those B——-ds needs to be tarred and feathered!!! Then hung by the feet in a car wash and high pressure washed until a suitable replacement is found!!! Which should take very long, a few weeks at the most.. if you get down to bone, wash the other side.

It’s time to watch who in the house and senate does what so you know who supports your ideas of the way you want tge country you live in (USA) to be like. You either vote for the ones who support the constitution or we lose our constitutional rights. If the ones in office now do not want to stand by it and uphold it they need to be voted out in next election.

In the context of the fed budget this is small dollars. And it would create a barrier nearly coast to coast. Yearly deficits for congress are so high at 1T why no approval? A virtual wall, current congressional advocates Pelosi, use it as red herring, was contracted thru Boeing by DHS for a billion back in 2010 called SBInet. It didn’t work and it was ineffective. Prior attempts in the 90’s had similar expense and result
