EXCLUSIVE: City sues store over large US flag, here’s our response!

MAY 21, 2019

The American flag is under attack yet again – this time because a store’s flag is “too large.”  A North Carolina city has slapped an RV store with a lawsuit, demanding its 40×80 U.S. flag be yanked down because it’s nearly twice the size the city allows for “signs and other outdoor marketing devices.”

The store, Gander RV, posted the following notice on their Facebook page:

The City of Statesville, North Carolina has filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction to require Gander RV in Statesville, NC to take down their American Flag. They are imposing a $50/day fine retroactive to 10/15/18. Many cities like Statesville have requested that Camping World and Gander Outdoors take down their American Flags. WE WON’T DO IT! Stand with us. This is about more than just the flag. This is about our Veterans, Military, and the men and women that have sacrificed for this great country. They are the reason we fly the flag and they are the reason we will NOT take it down!

IT’S TIME TO TAKE A STAND! When NFL players first began disrespecting the national anthem and the U.S. flag by kneeling during the playing of the “Star Spangled Banner” before their games, DML News was inspired to create the “I Stand For My Flag” bumper sticker.

The bumper sticker has remained one of our most popular items, as American patriots across the nation have continued to use them to show they’re standing tall for the U.S. flag and the freedoms it represents.… and they WON’T BACK DOWN!

THE BUMPER STICKER is just $4.99

It measures 3 inches by 8.25 inches and will be mailed via UPS.
