Democrat Andrew Gillum, who is in a tight race for Florida governor against Republican Ron DeSantis, has experienced a watch party tent malfunction.

The tent was reportedly set up outside for the media, but amid pouring rain, it has sprung a very bad leak.

Politico reporter Marc Caputo announced earlier on Twitter that it was pouring rain. He wrote, “Metaphor alert? It’s pouring, deluging in Tallahassee at Gillum’s election night party. One hour until polls close. But I wonder who’s gonna vote in this slop.”

Soon after, Caputo announced that the tent had sprung a leak, and shared a video of the chaos.

Another reporter, Mike Madden, also posted photos and videos, announcing that it was pouring rain and everyone was taking cover.

Alas, as the tent began to leak, Madden said, “Tons and tons of computer equipment from other journalists sit on these desks in the media camp for the @AndrewGillum watch party. News outlets scurrying to get out of the way if water falls through the tents.”
