Terrence K. Williams, a comedian and commentator well known for his viral videos in support of President Trump, was planning to attend a White House reception on Thursday with the president, in honor of Black History Month, but has found himself laid up in the hospital instead.

According to posts on Williams’s Twitter account, the Lyft car he was riding in was involved in a serious accident on Wednesday, nearly going over a bridge railing. Williams first posted to Twitter Wednesday afternoon, saying, “Guys I been into wreck my chest is tight I can’t breath it’ was my lyft I’m In Baltimore and Maryland area.”

Next was a picture of the car.

From the hospital, Williams added more details: “Hey guys! It’s hard typing this. I have fractured neck and back some spine issues. My lyft Driver almost flew off the bridge. I’ll be staying at the hospital for a few days! No White House for me😔 Thanks for the support. Logging off . Love y’all!”

David Harris, Jr., another Trump supporter with a huge social media following, then shared a video of Williams in the hospital, and wrote, “.@w_terrence shares that as his @lyft driver was heading towards the railing on the bridge, he thought it was all over. He’s bummed he won’t make the reception to meet @realDonaldTrump at the @WhiteHouse tomorrow, but he’s happy to be alive.”

On Thursday, Williams shared another update with a video, and wrote, “Update! I want to thank everyone for all the love and support. Everything happened so fast & I thought it was the end so I’m thankful to be alive. My neck & back is out of commission so I can’t eat anything. Still in ER Trauma Care waiting to be admitted to a room. Love y’all!”

President Trump tweeted out a video Thursday evening, of the White House event which Williams missed, due to the accident:
