House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to Twitter on Sunday to publish a message designed to help illegal aliens avoid ICE raids.

The tweet comes as Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is conducting raids in various sanctuary cities Sunday.

Pelosi’s tweet reads: “It should be a sign to us that today’s Catholic Gospel reading is the Good Samaritan, where Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors as ourselves and treat them with mercy. Trump’s ICE raids today tear families apart -the opposite of mercy. #FamiliesBelongTogether #KnowYourRights”

Attached to the tweets is a tip sheet entitled: “WHAT TO DO IF ICE COMES TO YOUR DOOR.”

The list of from Pelosi offers tips including one that says, “REMAIN SILENT. ICE can use anything you say against you..”

DMLNewsApp CEO Dennis Michael Lynch responded to the tweet: “Your job is to represent CITIZENS. How dare you put so much effort in helping illegals! Imagine if you spent this time defending citizens. Maybe veterans & children in CA wouldn’t be forced to crap their pants because they live in tents. Why not fight to get them a home & toilet?”
