Daylight savings time begins on Sunday, as Americans move their clocks forward one hour, in order to enjoy more daylight at the end of the day for the next 8 months.

Three Florida lawmakers – Sens. Marco Rubio (R) and Rick Scott (R) and Rep. Vern Buchanan (R) – have introduced a bill that would keep it that way, preventing the clocks from being moved back again in November.

The new legislation is called the “Sunshine Protection Act,” which would make daylight savings time permanent all year long.

PLEASE TAKE OUR POLL BELOW – WE WANT YOUR OPINION. Do you support this idea? Do you prefer more daylight at the end of the day? Or should they leave it alone?

Daylight savings time was created for farmers, and I support adding many more farms/agriculture across the country. Since the US is leader in oil production and supply. The US needs to be self sustaining

I do not support this bill. I want the time change to stop, but to keep standard time not DST.

Stay on DST… who wants it to get dark at 430pm in the Winter?

Stop the time change all together, farmers no longer need it, they equipment with lights now that run all night long. I know I worked for a farm that grew wheat we work 24 -7 some weeks bring in the harvest.
