MADILL, Okla. (KXII) – Marshall County Emergency Manager Robert Chaney says a bus carrying 46 people from the southern U.S. border to Chicago was stopped by police in the Madill Walmart parking lot late Sunday night to address passengers’ health issues, before it was reloaded with passengers and continued on its journey north.

Chaney originally reported the people inside had immigrated illegally, but police determined a short time later that was not the case.

The article goes on to state the following:

“ICE confirmed through telephone that the bus was travelling legally, and it did cross the border legally through customs,” Madill Police spokesman Donny Raley said.

KXII reporter Crystal Martinez tweeted: “A bus carrying 46 illegal immigrants was stopped in a Wal Mart parking lot in Madill. We’re told passengers are receiving welfare checks due to complaints of not eating, drinking for several hours and no heat on the bus.”

Martinez then added the following updates: “Scene is cleared! We have just been told that ICE confirmed the bus and everyone in it did cross the border legally. Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics was called and a K9 did find “hash,” ( a marijuana substance) which resulted in one person being detained.”

“The bus is now back in route to Chicago. I’ve been told the people on the bus wanted to continue their travels. The people who were checked in to a hospital were released.”

NOTE FROM DML NEWS EDITOR: Madill, Oklahoma is a small town several miles between two major highways that most traffic would use when driving from Texas to Chicago.

Sickening what goes on behind the ‘Oz’ curtain. So, all I need to do is complain and then I get money? Sorry, tried that, it doesn’t work!

Why the devil are these illegals being allowed to go to Chicago? What the devil is ICE thinking! We don’t need the damn illegals coming so far into America. This crap gas to stop…and giving them warfare checks…OUTRAGEOUS!
