A report this week that the onetime CEO of coffee titan Starbucks, Howard Schultz, is weighing an independent bid for the presidency brought a two-word reaction from the Democratic Party chairwoman in Washington state:

“Please. Don’t.”

The article goes on to state the following:

“Too much is at stake to make this about the ambitions of any one person,” said Democratic Party Chairwoman Tina Podlodowski. In a statement this weekend, she urged him not to put personal ambition ahead of national interest.

“The 2020 race for President has to be about relegating Donald Trump to the dustbin of history, and reclaiming the Oval Office for our people and our future,” the statement read.

This is so SAD! This lady told the truth alright. She’s saying she didn’t want Howard to run because all they want is someone who can beat President Trump. That’s admitting they don’t have a message or agenda. Sad day in this Country when people aren’t interested in us, only to fight to be in charge.
