Fox News anchor Shannon Bream described the scene outside the Supreme Court following President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh as “volatile” while announcing that her planned live program would be moving back to the studio.

Bream wrote on Twitter that she “felt threatened” on Monday night.

“Very few times I’ve felt threatened while out in the field. The mood here tonight is very volatile. Law enforcement appears to be closing down 1st Street in front of SCOTUS,” Bream wrote shortly after the president announced his selection of Kavanaugh to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy from the White House East Room.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Literally had to bail on our live show from #SCOTUS. Moving the show back to the safety of the studio. See y’all at 11p @FoxNews,” she added in another tweet less than 40 minutes before her show, “Fox News @ Night,” was set to begin.
