Celebrations at the 9th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic were interrupted on Saturday with news of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation onto the Supreme Court.

Actress Ellen Pompeo slammed the “shocking” Senate decision. “Women don’t matter. We don’t matter. What else is there to say? It’s a good old boys club,” she said on the red carpet. “I just can’t believe that victims of sexual assault don’t matter that much.”

The article goes on to state the following:

The only way for her to deal with the news? “We should all just get drunk. We should all be like Brett Kavanaugh and drink,” Pompeo said, adding, “I am serious. How else are we supposed to deal with it?”

No Ellen we people do not believe in lies and we don’t believe in guilty til proven innocent. Ford had many discrepancies in her statements and they’ve all been proven some of them even by CNN. I’m hoping that somebody Sue’s her for defamation of character and for lying under oath which is perjury. You celebrities live in a lala land and you don’t understand what is going on in America. Ford made it bad for the actual victims of abuse that are telling the truth. Ford was a setup and it was a scam by the Democrats.

So sad to see these celebrities comment on such things publicly. Of course her words are reckless, untrue and non factual. So, she is voicing her opinion on such an important situation and in very important times. The bottom line in the Kavanaugh situation is, he was found innocent. The accusations against him were unfounded. This is how it must ALWAYS be. Like it or not. It has nothing to do with woman, abuse, woman’s rights. It has everything to do with right and wrong, fair and unfair, laws and lawlessness. All may feel a certain way about this and that’s everyone’s right. But what we feel at this point is a mute point, our legal process has taken it’s coarse and we have a result. We must, as respectful adults, honorable Americans and just fair and decent human beings, accept the results of this and move on. For the sake of all involved and our country as a whole. It’s time to move on and the very famous really need to keep their personal opinions to themselves about this. They really do. Mr. Kavanaugh and his family are going to be in the public spotlight for many years to come, in fairness and human decency, we need to let this go. Let this family have their lives back. Mrs. Ford will blend back into obscurity and don’t forget, she has about a million bucks too. Not being sarcastic, just telling it like it is.
