A Missouri Republican group has disinvited Sen. Roy Blunt from speaking at a local GOP event after he voted against President Trump’s border emergency declaration.

The Christian County Republican Central Committee uninvited Blunt from its April 6 Lincoln/Trump Day dinner, the Kansas City Star reports.

The article goes on to state the following:

The committee’s event chairwoman, Wanda Martens, wrote to Blunt in anger after he voted with 11 other Senate Republicans to revoke Trump’s emergency declaration, which the president is using to reallocate $3.6 billion in military construction money to a southern border wall project.

“I am so disappointed in you now that I can hardly speak,” Martens wrote to Blunt in an email.

Yay!! Being from the greater KC area, I completely agree with and applaud this decision!! He should have check his voicemails and other accounts that his constituents commented on before he made that “stupid bonehead” vote!!!!!
We expect him to represent US and support our President!! Say goodbye to your office now, Mr. Blunt! Besides the fact that we need term limits, it’s time for you to go.. Sam Graves, too, has been there too long!! Every state should start their own ‘term limits’ by voting out the incumbents in their primaries and putting new blood into the house and the senate…

These people need to understand that the American people want them to stand behind our President. They can be voted out.

When will the other 11 pay the price? It is time to take all of them of any committees or events.
