President Trump injured his hand while playing around with his son Barron, which required a bandage that was visible during the president’s recent trip to the southern border, according to the White House.
On Tuesday, Politico published a report that highlighted the bandage on the president’s hand. The news outlet noted that a photo posted by Fox News host Sean Hannity during an interview with Trump showed a blood-stained bandage on the president’s right-hand.
The article goes on to state the following:
“The President was having fun and joking around with his son Barron and scratched his hand,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Politico.

White House says Trump scratched his hand playing with Barron after he was seen wearing a small bandage on the back of his right hand last Thursday and yesterday. WH also says Trump will have another physical this year and is finalizing details. https://t.co/9Rk4MnZznh

Conspiracies are now going wild, with people again questioning the president’s health, or suggesting he had an IV in his hand. Another Twitter user claimed he hurt his hand when it slammed it on the table in the meeting with Chuck Schumer and Pelosi – which Trump has denied he did, despite Schumer’s claim that Trump “slammed his hand on the table.”
If Trump is so healthy, then why does it appear that he has gotten an intravenous injection or infusion into the back of his right hand. Perhaps he is on a blood thinner given the leakage of blood under the bandage. pic.twitter.com/oKhIocjO07

So, The WH is lying unless he named a table “Barron”…..Last Wednesday was that meeting with Schumer & Pelosi where Trump slammed on the table and stormed out. Thursday he starts wearing a bandage because he “hurt his hand playing with Barron”. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 https://t.co/SCNaSWN9oY

Multiple Twitter users are accusing Sanders of lying, saying they’ve never seen Trump play with his son. They are insisting the bandaged wound is from an IV port.
“Every single time I’ve been admitted to a hospital in the last 25 years, the back of my hand is exactly the place where the staff installed an IV port. That bandage tells me Trump was/is getting something via IV recently. The WH is lying. Again,” one person posted on Twitter.
Another cover up! Trump has had a bloody bandage on his hand since last Thursday. Sarah (Zero Credibility) Sanders says he sustained the injury while playing with his son Barron. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A PHOTO OF TRUMP PLAYING WITH HIS SON? It’s more likely he punched a staff member. pic.twitter.com/axEXxvrtX7

BTW, your boy @realDonaldTrump is in medical trouble. @seanhannity posted a photo of the 2 of them & in the pic #Trump’s got a bloody bandage on his hand covering an ABG draw site (arterial blood gases). He’s just a massive MI or TIA waiting to happen. pic.twitter.com/fNYYxJabNq

Trump has a blood soaked bandage on the top of his hand. In a location which would be where a line might be run for a blood draw, IV drip or some kind of infusion.

1) IVs are more typically given on the inside of the elbow. 2) One would slam a table with the palm of one’s hand, not the back.
Media and Democrats just don’t have much common sense.
