WASHINGTON — The senior Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee referred information involving Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, to federal investigators on Thursday, but the senator declined to make public what the matter involved.

Two officials familiar with the matter say the incident involved possible sexual misconduct between Judge Kavanaugh and a woman when they were both in high school.

The article goes on to state the following:

The White House responded almost immediately.

“Throughout his confirmation process, Judge Kavanaugh has had 65 meetings with senators — including with Senator Feinstein — sat through over 30 hours of testimony, addressed over 2,000 questions in a public setting and additional questions in a confidential session. Not until the eve of his confirmation has Senator Feinstein or anyone raised the specter of new ‘information’ about him,” said White House spokeswoman Kerri Kupec. She added, “Senator Schumer promised to ‘oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have,’ and it appears he is delivering with this 11th hour attempt to delay his confirmation.”

Aides to Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the Democratic leader, said he has not seen the Eshoo letter, but he believes the committee is handling the matter appropriately.

But Senator John Cornyn of Texas, the No. 2 Republican in the Senate and a member of the committee, was incredulous.

According to the report, the House committee’s chairman, Senator Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), hasn’t seen the letter Feinstein reffered to the FBI. Grassley did say it wouldn’t change his timeline for confirming Kavanaugh.

From the NYT:

“Senator Grassley is aware of Senator Feinstein’s referral,” said George Hartmann, a spokesman for Mr. Grassley. “At this time, he has not seen the letter in question, and is respecting the request for confidentiality. There’s no plan to change the committee’s consideration of Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination.”

What about the Chinese spy that Feinstein had working for her for years? when is she going to be charged with that? Oh wait she’s a Democrat I guess the answer is never. What hypocrites. So what’s so enough is enough with these Democrats they are out of control and must be stopped with their obstruction. Start throwing some of them in jail especially Al Sharpton who owes millions in taxes

And she had this information since July?? Of course she wouldn’t bring it up then…it would’ve been debunked & forgotten by now…just had to wait until the 11th hour! Well, I say confirm him anyway, no delay because the dems are praying for a midterm Senate takeover & if they do , Kavanaugh will never be confirmed, no matter how qualified!!
