Earlier this summer, Christine Blasey Ford wrote a confidential letter to a senior Democratic lawmaker alleging that Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her more than three decades ago, when they were high school students in suburban Maryland. Since Wednesday, she has watched as that bare-bones version of her story became public without her name or her consent, drawing a blanket denial from Kavanaugh and roiling a nomination that just days ago seemed all but certain to succeed.

Now, Ford has decided that if her story is going to be told, she wants to be the one to tell it.

The article goes on to state the following:

Speaking publicly for the first time, Ford said that one summer in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and a friend — both “stumbling drunk,” Ford alleges — corralled her into a bedroom during a gathering of teenagers at a house in Montgomery County.

While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.

“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”

According to the report, Ford escaped Kavanaugh because Mark Judge, a classmate of Kavanaugh’s at Georgetown Preparatory School, “jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling,” allowing her to get free and eventually leave the house.

In 2012, while she was in couples therapy with her husband, she revealed the story. The Washington Post says they’ve “reviewed” the therapist’s notes in part. The notes “do not mention Kavanaugh’s name but say she reported that she was attacked by students ‘from an elitist boys’ school’ who went on to become ‘highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington.'”

According to the reviewed notes, four boys were involved, which Ford says “was an error on the therapist’s part.” Ford reports that although four boys were at the party, there were only two in the room whe the alleged incident took place.

Later, while in individual therapy, Ford also described a “rape attempt” that occurred in her late teens, the Post reports.

Ford’s husband, Russell Ford, says his wife used Kavanaugh’s name in relation to the incident and that she had in the past “voiced concern” that Kavanaugh might be nominated to the Supreme Court.

“I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time,” Kavanaugh said in a statement upon learning of the original allegations, before Ford was named.

Judge likewise denied the allegation, saying, “It’s just absolutely nuts. I never saw Brett act that way.” Judge also make the comment before Ford was named.

During her July therapy in 2012, she never mentioned his name. In an other therapy session she claimed that she had been raped by someone else. How much is she being paid to bring this forward now. I don’t believe her and I hope they vote for him this week. This obstruction of justice has got to stop. And I don’t care if she took a lie detector test who was giving it to her the Democrats? And a lie detector test cannot be proven in court

  11. Debbie September 16th, 2018 at 3:42 pm

Yea right! If she were raped, or groped or whatever she says happened, she should have been to the hospital! So I don’t believe her or anybody else who cries wolf, years later to ruin someone’s life! Total BS !!!

Psychologist… hmmmm. Many go into this field because they are troubled people. This should make her a new woman, by golly! A load off.! Now, her face and entire biography should be fair game. What a cheap shot. Bet she thinks BECAUSE she is a psychologist, we should all believe her. No, does not work that way. The day is now here where we also question the “lady”.
