President Trump marked the one year anniversary of the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. The embassy’s establishment is considered a landmark success for the relationship between Israel and the Trump administration.

“Today marks the one-year anniversary of the opening of the United States Embassy in Jerusalem, Israel. Our beautiful embassy stands as a proud reminder of our strong relationship with Israel and of the importance of keeping a promise and standing for the truth,” Trump tweeted.

The president also tweeted about his meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo, writing: “When Prime Minister @AbeShinzo of Japan visited with me in the @WhiteHouse two weeks ago, I told him that I would be going to the G20 in Osaka, Japan. I look forward to being with him and other World Leaders!”

Additionally, Trump tweeted a congratulations to Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas, who released a book on the history of Arlington National Cemetery, titled “Sacred Duty.”
