On Friday, President sent out a series of tweets covering various topics.

In one tweet, Trump sent out an image which shows a smiling president giving a “thumbs-up” with the words “50% approval rating” prominently displayed above it. Trump wrote, “Working hard, thank you!” in the tweet.

Rasmussen reports, “The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-nine percent (49%) disapprove.

“The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 41% who Strongly Disapprove.”

In the next tweet, Trump sent condolences to the family of Former Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.), who died Thursday at the age of 92. Trump wrote, “Deepest sympathies to Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and the entire family of John Dingell. Longest serving Congressman in Country’s history which, if people understand politics, means he was very smart. A great reputation and highly respected man.”

Dingle was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year. He played a key role in many pieces of landmark legislation.

In another tweet, Trump expressed sadness for the passing of Frank Robinson, the Hall of Fame outfielder who also passed away on Thursday. Robinson, 83,  “hit 586 home runs and became a racial pioneer as the first black manager in the major leagues,” according to The New York Times.

Trump Tweeted, “I was a big fan of Frank Robinson, both as a great player and man. He was the first African American manager in baseball and was highly respected at everything he did. He will [be] missed!”
