UPDATE: Thousands have signed petition to implement mandatory E-Verify, many more needed
We need to spread this message far and wide and get as much participation as possible. It’s time to implement mandatory E-Verify.
In an effort to push the government to make E-Verify a requirement for businesses, a petition was launched on the White House website by Philadelphia businessman Edward Bishop. It asks President Donald J. Trump to immediately sign an executive order requiring all businesses to use the E-Verify system for every person they hire.
DML News CEO Dennis Michael Lynch said every American who cares about the rule of law should be signing this petition.
“I’ve been solicited for 10 years to get behind petitions. This is the first one I’ve ever participated in. That’s how important this is,” DML said. He is pushing the petition heavily to DML News readers, asking them to taking on a leading role in helping to spread the word and skyrocket this effort.
Edwards added: “We need to make E-Verify mandatory to end the wave of illegal immigration into the U.S. This is as much a national security issue as it is a jobs issue as we really have no idea who is coming across the southern border. I have followed DML for several years and decided to reach out to him to get involved because, like many Americans, I was tired of waiting on our politicians to place the interests of our nation ahead of themselves.”
UPDATE: 4,225 people have signed the petition. Please join them today, and ask your friends to sign it, too.
The petition reads as follows:
U.S. Citizens should not be responsible to pay for the lives of illegal aliens and the services they use, including but not limited to education and healthcare. Likewise, businesses must be held accountable for hiring legitimate workers. Today, less than 3% of businesses participate in E-Verify because it’s voluntary.
Congress has demonstrated a lack of will to stop illegal immigration. Therefore, the President must use the powers granted him to remove the incentive for illegal aliens to travel to and remain in the U.S. unlawfully by eliminating their ability to secure a JOB.
Americans want the rule of law enforced NOW. This petition calls upon President Trump to immediately sign an executive order making E-Verify mandatory for all U.S. businesses, no exceptions.
The petition needs a total of 100,000 signatures by June 13, 2018, in order to get a response from the White House.
IMPORTANT: After signing the petition, an email will be sent immediately, where you will need to confirm your signature. Your signature WILL NOT BE VALID until you check your email and click the link to confirm your signature.
In addition to the petition, we are sending massive quantities of “They Come to America I, II, and III” to the president to catch his attention. Please join our movement. Here’s how:
The three films are packaged into one complete DVD case, called the “TRILOGY.”
Anyone who purchases the TRILOGY will receive a second FREE TRILOGY set to send to President Trump at the White House. When sending your video to the White House, it is IMPORTANT that you include a brief message emphasizing that the DVD set is NOT A GIFT, but critical information which President Trump and Congress need to see.
In your note, tell President Trump that he must issue an executive order to implement MANDATORY E-VERIFY laws for every U.S. employer.
