VIDEO: Acosta issues ‘warning’ to conservative media
As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News App offers the following information published by TheHill.com:
CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta warned conservative media that a future president could attack them the same way President Trump has attacked news organizations like his own.
“To our friends in conservative media, Anderson, I say this: It is no guarantee that you get to stay in power forever,” Acosta told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “Another administration could come in and do the very same thing to them and say, well, Donald Trump did it. Guess what, we’re going to do it to you guys, too.”
The article goes on to state the following:
Trump has routinely lambasted outlets such as CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post as “fake news.” He’s also branded the media as “the enemy of the people.” Trump also called Acosta “fake news” after refusing to answer his question during a White House press conference.
Acosta is now heavily promoting his new anti-Trump book, titled, “The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the truth in America.”
My book out today “The Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America” finds Trump staffers exhausted. One fmr senior WH official said “the president’s insane.” Separate fmr nat sec official couldn’t tell me why Trump is cozy with Putin https://t.co/PtWdXtZTHd pic.twitter.com/xBJA6Bqkgz

“The book is a call to the country to say, well, do we want to go down this road where we refer to other people as our enemy?” @Acosta says about his new book, “The Enemy of the People.”
