POLL: Should Biden’s nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson be confirmed to the Supreme Court?

MARCH 23, 2022

Wednesday marked Day 3 of the confirmation hearing for Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson.

If confirmed, Jackson will make history as the first Black woman on the Supreme Court – fulfilling one of Biden’s campaign promises.

Jackson, 51, has served as a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit since June 2021, where she was also appointed by Joe Biden.

Prior to that, she was a judge on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, from March 2013 until June 2021. She was appointed to that position by former president Barack Obama.

Below are some of the most significant moments as Jackson has been grilled by Republicans during the hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week.
