The parents of former Rep. Katie Hill’s estranged husband say that their son’s computer was hacked before nude photographs of Hill surfaced.

The California Democrat resigned from Congress after leaked photographs and texts showed that she and her husband, who is divorcing Hill, were involved in a three-way relationship with one of Hill’s campaign staffers. The relationship began soon after the staffer graduated college and started working for Hill’s campaign in late 2017.

The article goes on to state the following:

Hill’s husband, Kenny Heslep, has told his parents that he was not responsible for Hill’s nude photo being leaked to the press, according to BuzzFeed.

“He was hacked, is what he says,” said Kenny Heslep’s father, Fred Keslep according to the report. “I think he started having computer issues, so that’s what made him think it was a hacking.”
