VIDEO: Former Mattis speechwriter responds to rumors he wrote ‘Anonymous’ book
As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News App offers the following information published by WASHINGTONEXAMINER.COM:
Guy Snodgrass finally rejected rumors that he was the anonymous author of a tell-all book about the Trump administration.
Snodgrass, an ex-speechwriter for former Defense Secretary James Mattis, had tiptoed around rumors that he was the author of A Warning, a book that was written by the same anonymous author of a New York Times op-ed that claimed there were high-level White House advisers who were resisting President Trump.
The article goes on to state the following:
The former speechwriter refused to directly answer whether he authored the book during a Monday interview on Fox News and tweeted, “The swirl continues” in response to a New Republic article suggesting that he could be responsible for the book and the op-ed.
After leaving the speculation “swirling”, Snodgrass later denied he is the author of the book in a CNN interview Tuesday.
“No, I’m not the writer. I got asked that. Evidently, that news popped before I went on to a different television show yesterday. They asked me the question. I kind of batted it away. I thought it would be asked and we’d be done. To put it to rest, no, I’m not the author of A Warning. I’m not the anonymous op-ed writer,” Snodgrass insisted.
Nope, not me. Looks like David Kusnet is 1 for 2 on anonymous book authors. https://t.co/kOLirvAkrI

Snodgrass was evasive when asked the question in a Fox News interview on Monday:
.@GuySnodgrass dismisses speculations that he is “Anonymous,” who wrote the 2018 New York Times op-ed and a new book called “A Warning.”
Snodgrass says it’s important for the author to put their name on the book. “Readers need the opportunity to assess who wrote the material.” pic.twitter.com/isJ3Ofs4l8— New Day (@NewDay) November 26, 2019
“I put my name to it because I think it’s important. Readers need the opportunity to assess who wrote the material. Who wrote the book? What is their bias?”
Guy Snodgrass denies he’s the Anonymous staffer behind a tell-all about the Administration.
