CAYCE, S.C. (WACH) – Police in South Carolina announced they have discovered the body of missing 6-year-old Faye Marie Swetlik.

Officials announced no arrests have been made at this time but did say another deceased male was also located in the Churchill Heights neighborhood.

The article goes on to state the following:

Earlier Thursday police announced they have identified the occupants of one of the vehicles seen in the neighborhood during the time the child was last seen.

Greg Suskin of WSOC9 News tweeted, “Breaking. Horrible news to tell you. The search for missing 6-yr-old Faye Swetlik is over. She was found this morning in her neighborhood. Near her home. It’s now a homicide. Her body was found.”

Suskin added, “Just to consolidate the latest info. Officers were devastated moments ago to tell us Faye Swetlik’s body was found this morning in her Cayce neighborhood. The body of a man was also found but not identified. This is now a homicide investigation. Police did not take questions.”

The little girl was last seen getting off her school bus.
