WAYNE COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — More than a dozen high level dealers who authorities say brought an estimated 100 pounds of methamphetamine into middle Tennessee have been arrested.
Wayne County Sheriff Shane Fisher confirms to FOX 17 News that 13 “high level” dealers were arrested Monday. One dealer is still at large and wanted by officers.

Fisher said Wayne County is being flooded by pure methamphetamine, also known as “Ice” or Crystal meth,” that’s being supplied by Mexican Cartel. Fisher said the drugs are coming from Florence, Alabama by way of Mexican Cartel.
Fisher said: “This is affecting all surrounding counties, it’s not just Wayne County. It’s affecting us all. If we find someone responsible for bringing meth into Wayne County, they will be prosecuted in the county.”
