UPDATE: Singer confirms he has tested positive for coronavirus

As the most reliable and balanced news aggregation service on the internet, DML News App offers the following information published by TheHill.com:
Jackson Browne says he tested positive for coronavirus and is advising everyone else to assume they have it, too.
“I quarantined immediately upon feeling sick. It was before the mandatory quarantine orders were issued, because you don’t know if you had it or not,” the “Running on Empty” singer told Rolling Stone in an interview published Tuesday. “You have to assume you have it. You need to assume that you in some way could very easily pass it to someone else.”
Browne told the magazine that he’s experiencing “pretty mild” symptoms, and hasn’t needed any medication or hospitalization as he recovers in his Los Angeles home.
The article goes on to state the following:
The 71-year-old performer said he suspects he got the potentially deadly virus during a trip to New York earlier this month for a benefit concert. Stressing the importance of social distancing and self-quarantining, Browne said, “They don’t have symptoms, but they might have it and might be able to pass it on. That’s what younger readers need to understand: They need to take part in the global response to stop the spread. That means not going anywhere, not getting into contact with anybody, not seeing anybody.”
Other notable figures who have tested positive for coronavirus include Prince Charles, Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson, Bravo’s Andy Cohen, actor Idris Elba, and Sen. Rand Paul.
